About Me

Alaa Marzuk is a senior Counter Terrorism researcher at ActiveFence. He holds an MA in Political Science with a specialization in National Security from the University of Haifa, and studied Sunni and Shiite Islamic theology in a religious seminary. His fields of research include Islam in Europe, the crisis in Syria and Lebanon and terrorist activity around the World. Previously, Alaa conducted research on disadvantaged groups in the Middle East.
